Pre-Qualification Criteria

Do you meet the 4 pre-qualification criteria?

1. The Financial Investment

The liquid cash investments is 30% of the total cost to develop. We look for a minimum cash liquidity of $150,000 as a typical Reef will cost between $500,000 and $700,000 , sometimes more. The development cost varies depending on the site, size, labour cost in the area,etc. The total combined net worth minimum is $500,000.

2. Commitment to Franchise Standards

Are you ready and willing to make a commitment to being self-employed in a franchise system? Are you able to follow the policies and strict concept maintenance that The Reef lays out? Our unique restaurant concept doesn’t require previous restaurant experience only when there is complementary business experience.

3. Time Frame

If you are offered a Reef franchise, from your initial interest through the offer and acceptance you can expect to spend 120 to 180 days involved in this process. Once an agreement is signed , you have 12 months to open the restaurant. We will assist you through the development process.

4. Managing Your Business

From helping you secure your site, and hiring and training your employees, The Reef Restaurants Inc. has a strong support system to aid you in the opening and ongoing operation of your business. Every business requires the dedication of not only money , but also time.
